Popis:	Tilorone hydrochloride (1), the dihydrochloride of bis-2, 7-[(diethylamino)ethoxy]fluoren-9-one, is an orally active, interferon stimulating, antiviral agent in mice.1,2 Extensive studies have also shown the effectiveness of this compound as an antitumor and antiinflammatory agent.3,4 Tilorone hydrochloride is currently being investigated as an adjuvant in the early treatment of cancer.5
