Does economic policy uncertainty affect monetary policy and election’s governance in United States?

Popis:	This paper examines the impact of economic policy uncertainty on US interest rates and election policy. For estimating monthly data from 2008 to 2021 he uses a VAR model. Our estimates suggest that a one-standard-deviation shock in economic policy uncertainty has a negative impact on electoral policy in the short run. Although it does not affect interest rates.
