Popis:	A convenient method is described for the formation of distyryl sulphides, sulphoxides and sulphones. Thus, Horner-Wittig reaction in two-phase system of the corresponding phosphonates with aromatic aldehydes affords the desired α β unsaturated sulphur compounds. The geometry of compounds so formed was assigned with the aid of NMR spectroscopic methods.
