Popis: | We have proposed a photovoltaic (PV) potential assessment model emphasizing on temperature loss since this loss was found to significantly dominate performance of PV systems in high temperature regions. The simulated monthly PV output from the model in this work is more accurate than the results from the PVsyst program. This assessment model is applied to develop a software tool which is suitable for estimating PV output in Thailand and neighbor countries. This tool provides useful information for those who plan to install PV systems and also can be used for promoting solar PV in the tropics. |
