The 19F(γ, 2n)17F cross section

Popis: The cross section for the 19 F(γ, 2n) 17 F reaction was measured from 19 to 60 MeV using bremsstrahlung activation methods to produce a yield curve. The cross section shows peaks at energies of 24.7 ± 0.5, 27.9 ± 0.6, 33.6 ± 0.7, 40.5 ± 0.8 and 56.6 ± 1.6 MeV. The cross section integrated to 60 MeV is 9.1 ± 0.9 MeV · mb. A discussion of the reaction sequence is given.
