Development of Color Gel System

Popis: Recently, 3D printers are being used in Medical field. We had developed 3D Gel Printer known as SWIM-ER. However, it is capable of only printing monochrome gels. In this work we present development of a new 3D printer which is capable of 3D printing pigment based color gels. In order to develop this new full color 3D Gel Printer we selected three pigments: cyan, magenta and yellow. We made gel palettes to find target color of gel easily. We found that by mixing three different colors we can obtain wide color spectrum for our Full Color 3D Gel Printer. However, it was also found that wet can not obtain black and white color gels. Therefore, there is a need to select black and white pigment. We will develop color gel database by which a recipe for the target color can be obtained.
