Reduction of feeding by the desert locust, Schistocerca gregaria, after infection with Metarhizium flavoviride

Popis:	Adult desert locusts inoculated with Metarhizium flavoviride died after a period ranging from 5 days with locusts given 5 μl of inoculum of 1.6 × 10 8 conidia, to 8–14 days with those given an inoculum of 5.5 × 10 5 . Daily food consumption in infected locusts was reduced, within 24 hr at the highest dose and more slowly with lower doses.
