Some properties of Tl0.4Pb0.5Sn0.2Sr2Ca0.8Y0.2Cu2O7- deltasuperconductors

Popis: The structure of (Tl0.5Pb0.5)Sr2CaCu2Oy was stabilized by partial substitution of Ca by Y(+3) and (Tl,Pb) by Sn(+4). In a sample with nominal composition Tl0.4Pb0.5Sn0.2Sr2Ca0.8Y0.2Cu2 O7- delta , the obtained Tc (R=0) is 103 K. The behavior of thermopower and magnetic irreversibility is close to those of Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3Oy. In view of the YBa2Cu3O7-like structure of the sample, the authors results imply that the situation between CuO2 planes has significant influence on the properties of the oxide superconductors.
