Popis: | This study aims to investigate the confidence role in the engaged consumption of the local product. In this framework, we also tested the moderating roles of the sensitivity to the prices of organic products in the engaged consumption process. The empirical part was made in two exploratory and confirmatory studies. The results enabled us to confirm the research hypotheses. Then, the confidence in the organic product induct to the engaged consumption. In this relationship, the sensitivity to the prices of organic products plays a positive moderating role. Then, this causal link between confidence and engaged consumption is stronger when the consumer favorably sensitive to the organic price. This research has improved the theoretical background related to local and organic food. Moreover, it provides marketers with the real tools to promote organic food. |
