The aim of our research project is to examine obstacles that prevent those in rural areas from supporting policies to combat climate change. We theorize that there are two obstacles to rural citizens buying into climate policy: (1) a lack of government trust, as well as (2) the nature of the media reporting of climate change. We will collect data through a survey with an embedded experiment. |
