Development, modeling and experimental research of a two-probe microstrip impedance sensor

Popis: The paper presents the results of modeling and experimental research of a microstrip microwave impedance sensor for a built-in control device, consisting of a directional coupler, a power divider and two measuring probes. Modeling was carried out using two CAD systems: AWR Design Environment and Altair Feko. The simulation results in different CAD systems are close, the difference in the transmission coefficients for the corresponding channels does not exceed 2 dB. An experimental research has shown good agreement with the calculated results.
