Popis: | Experience is described for the installation of protective walls formed from piles injected into predrilled holes to prevent the settlement of existing buildings in cases where the shielded driving of large-diameter utility pipelines is conducted near the buildings. Information is cited for a procedure employed to install piles injected into predrilled holes using hollow augers, and data are presented for methods of monitoring the performance of these piles. It is demonstrated that protective walls formed from drill-and-inject piles reliably protect existing buildings from deformations, even in cases where they are located a short distance from the zone of the driving operations. |
