Popis: | The rate constants of the reaction of nitrate and ethylperoxy radicals are measured using laser photolysis coupled with time resolved UVvis spectrometry and laser diode spectroscopy over the temperature range 277358 K, for pressures varying between 380 and 550 Torr. This work provides the first kinetic data for the reaction of NO 3 + C 2 H 5 O 2 as a function of temperature. The Arrhenius expression (in cm 3 molecule 1 s 1 ) is as follows: k 1 ( T ) = (8.70 ± 2.40) y 10 12 exp(390 ± 85/ T ). At room temperature, the rate constant value obtained is in good agreement with the three values previously reported for the NO 3 + C 2 H 5 O 2 reaction. |
