Popis: Described in this paper is the generalized analysis of a possibility to realize nonlinear transmission line (NLTL) as a distributed line with nonlinear dielectric. The analysis is based on phenomenological description of ferroelectrics C-V characteristics. Results presented show that the use of ceramic paraelectrics in NLTLs provides rather effective compression of high voltage steps of subnanosecond duration.
