Popis: The crystal structure of the title compound, C 38 H 56 O 16 , is disordered above 298 K. A tripling of the unit cell is observed on cooling. The structure at 136K contains six ordered molecules related by pseudo-translation vectors of (1/3,0,-1/3), pseudo-inversion centers and pseudo-twofold screw axes.
