Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have become a popular theme in recent years for providing students with not only remote opportunities in learning, but also completing learning more conveniently. However, they are also challenged by very low completion rates, so it is necessary to impose more desired features on their courses such that students can get more engaged with the depth of these courses to complete their learning. For this need, this paper discusses such desired features for MOOCs by employing eBooks as the medium to support both of the actions of learning activities and the deliveries of learning contents. These eBook-based features for MOOCs are then constructed by using ePUB3 techniques in the format of ePUB3 eBooks and then illustrated in Web-based browsers. |
