Mathematical Model of Microwave Camera on the Groovewaveguide with Additional Injection of the Microwave Energy

Popis: When drying agricultural products with the help of microwave energy, working cameras on the groove waveguide were widely used. However, due to the intense absorption of microwave energy by the product, a large uneven drying of the product is observed. In order to equalize the drying process, additional injection of microwave energy into the camera from another generator was applied. This led to the task of determining the optimal place for the injection of energy into the treatment zone. To solve this problem, a mathematical model of the camera with additional injection of microwave energy has been developed. The model is based on an equivalent representation of the grooved waveguide with a long line. With the help of this model, the problem of finding the optimum injection place for a minimum deviation of the absorbed power in the material from the average power in the camera is solved.
