Popis: | This paper presents a simple method of tracking and counting fish images using an image processing technique. An experiment to capture images of fish population was conducted and fish images were processed using blob analysis and Euclidean filtering. The focus of this paper is to present the image processing technique and test the detection and counting accuracy. The results of the experiment show that the proposed method obtained a high level of detection and accuracy. Finally, recommendations for future improvements are provided. |
