| Popis: | Interstrain crosses of the four geographic strains of S. japonicum—Chinese, Formosan, Japanese and Philippine—were made. The results showed that the fertility between the strains was not reduced and the infectivity of the filial generation was unimpaired. It was concluded that they should still be regarded as four geographic strains. |
