Popis: | LEAFLETS on Aids were sent to homes in Oxford in April 1986. The leaflets made only a slight impact, confined to people in social classes I and II. Many of the people who read the leaflets had seen or heard other public information. Forty six per cent of the people exposed to the leaflets and the DHSS adver tisements were unaware of either. There were prob lems in the delivery of the leaflets which reduced the effects of the initiative. Leaflets require supporting publicity to be effective. The telephone survey was quick to plan and relatively cheap. Telephone sur veys are useful in the evaluation of health education campaigns. |
