Popis: | In the presented research work an economic load dispatch problem based on various thermal units is processed by a derivative free method based on an analogy of metals annealing. The method is heuristic in nature and has minimum probability to get stuck in the local minima with better accuracy than that of classical schemes used solve economic dispatch problem. The test data has been incorporated from IEEE bus system of thermal generators and being observed the minimum cost ($) for power generation by maximizing the power utilization and minimizing the power losses. The simulations of the various scenarios are performed for different number of thermal units and constraints applicable in economic load dispatch. The author will evaluate the effects of the applied scheme in term of applicability, accuracy, cost and the computational complexity. |
