Popis: | Fibrosarcoma is considered as a relatively rare soft tissue sarcoma. This sarcoma is capable of local recurrence and metastasis, but its prognosis is relatively good.A case of fibrosarcoma, which primarily arose from right chest wall and metastasized to the right acetabulum 8 years after first excision, is reported.A 39-year-old woman, who had a history of fibrosarcoma and its local recurrence, complained of right coxalgia 8 years after the first excision of the tumor. Radiographically, osteolytic lesion was found in the right acetabulum. No pulmonary metastatic lesion was identified. Wide excision and histological examination was performed. The tumor consists mainly of fibroblastic spindle cells, arranged in fasciles, partially showing a herring-bone pattern. So this tumor was diagnosed as metastasis of fibrosarcoma. |
