Popis: | Open Service Access (OSA) is a flexible and efficient approach for mobile service creation and deployment. OSA allows network operators and enterprises to increase revenues via third party applications and service providers. In OSA, network functionality offered to applications is defined by a set of Service Capability Features (SCF). Services can be implemented by applications accessing the Service Capability (SC) through the standardised OSA Application Programming Interface (API). This paper designs and develops a Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) based OSA system. We show how OSA API interfaces and functions can be implemented by CORBA clients, stubs, servants and skeletons and how CORBA POA and ORB are set up for our OSA implementation. Then we use the authentication procedure for initial access to illustrate how CORBA mechanism works for our OSA implementation. |
