Popis: | We present a virtual sensor that estimates the flow rate in progressing cavity pumps. The approach uses a model for the interaction of rotor and stator inside the pump, combined with easy-to-acquire measurements. The proposed approach is adaptive in that it adjusts the model parameters online when the pump characteristics change, e.g., due to wear. We validate the presented approach with a laboratory test setup. |
