Popis: Convolution surfaces with volume bounding synthesized by means of perturbation functions are considered. The method for specifying convolution surfaces is proposed. A recursive algorithm for object space subdivision of free-form surfaces is described. The bounding surfaces are close to the surface of the convolution. This greatly reduces the number of calculations when finding points on the convolution surface.
