Popis: | This work presents the results of the study of the spatio-temporal dynamics of the At Bouzid forest between 1984 and 2019 (35 years old), based on remote sensing tools and the GIS tool. This study domain covers an area of 12,060 ha, given its location in the central High Atlas (near Lake Bine El Ouidane) several conditions are favorable to a very remarkable dynamic. In order to study this dynamic, we used the images from the satellite Landsat (1984 and 2001) and Oli (2019) to explore the evolution and spatialization of the forest of At Bouzid for a period of 35 years. The Analysis of the database of the forest dynamics map between 1984 and 2019, shows that bare land covers 32.7% of the study area, thus, this class was developed on the areas that were degraded forest with 25% (thus an increase of 14.7%). On the other hand, despite the presence of new areas of forest growth and growth with 16.6%, the forest recorded a decrease in its area of 14.7% (between 1984, 2001 and 2019). This evolution is justified by the combination of several factors that are at the same time topographical (slopes, altitudes and exposure of the slopes), climatic, geological and even anthropic. For the validation of the treatment results and the accuracy of the classification, they have been checked and validated by field checks.
