Popis:	Treatment of sylvan with equilibrium mixtures of 1, 2- and 1, 4-hydrochlorides of isoprene and dimethylbutadiene in the presence of zinc chloride and acetate gives the 2-methyl-5-alkenylfurans corresponding to the 1, 4-hydrochlorides of the dienes, which are further hydrolyzed to unsaturated γ-diketones.
