Popis: | The aim of this investigation was to determine the inhibiting efficiency of various substituted N-aryl-2,5-dimethylpyrroles and to study the relation between the structures and efficiencies of the inhibitors investigated. The investigations involved electrochemical methods (potentiostatic polarization, Tafel extrapolation and the determination of polarization resistance) as well as gravimetric measurements. The results show that inhibiting efficiency depends upon the presence of the substituted groups in the pyrrol ring as well as upon the types and the positions of the substituent on the aryl radical. |
