Popis: | The present investigation reports a simple solution process for synthesizing the leaf-like hierarchical CuO nanosheets without using a surfactant/template at low temperature. The crystalline structure, morphology and the UV light absorption capability of leaf-like hierarchical CuO nanosheets were examined. The UV light absorption capability was estimated by dispersing few percentage of leaf-like CuO nanosheets in a polymer film. An excellent UV light absorption capability was witnessed in a polymer film containing 0.2% of leaf-like CuO nanosheets with the maximum of 68% and 66% under a UV lamp and the direct daylight sources, respectively. |
