Popis: Recently an efficient off-line approach to validate (detect, identify and correct) branch parameter errors using several snapshots of SCADA measurements was developed. This paper extends this approach in order to incorporate synchronized phasor measurements, which are provided by Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs). Branches suspected of having parameters errors are identified through an Identification Index, which is computed based on the normalized residuals of SCADA and PMU measurements. The suspicious branch parameters are estimated in a sequential form using several measurement snapshots of SCADA and PMU measurements. This estimation process is executed via an augmented state- parameter estimator, which increases the conventional V-θ state vector for the inclusion of suspicious branch parameters. Several test results have demonstrated the high correctness and reliability of the proposed approach to treat single and multiple parameter errors in adjacent and non-adjacent branches and even in branches connected in a radial manner forming critical parameter k-tuples.
