Popis: | We present a theoretical analysis of the polarization dynamics of a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser with either linear anisotropies or nonlinear anisotropies. In both cases, we demonstrate that the polarization excursions follow a loxodrome spiral curve on the Poincare sphere of the polarization. |
