Popis: | The potential of sucrose crystal, which is transparent down to 190 nm, for nonlinear UV generation is investigated. Sellmeier's equations for the refractive indices of sucrose are presented. From these, the phase-matching curves for second-harmonic generation are derived and the results are in excellent agreement with the experiment. |
