Popis: The crystal structure of 10-methyl-9-{[(2-chloroethyl)thio]methyl}anthracene (ICR-358), an anthracene sulfur mustard having mild antitumor activity, has been studied. The crystals are triclinic, space group Pi, with Z= 2 for C18H17CIS (M.W. 300.83), cell dimensions a= 9.411 (2), b= 11-984 (3) c= 7-835 (2) A, ~= 107.62 (3), ,8= 109.48 (3), 7 = 101"54 ° (3), V=748.0 A3. The calculated and measured densities are 1.337 and 1.327 g.cm -3 respectively. The structural formula is
