Popis: | Changes in the presynaptic inhibition of spinal α motoneurons were studied in athletes during motor activities of different types. In the state where muscles were at relative rest, the presynaptic inhibition of spinal α motoneurons of the m. soleus was stronger in samboists (athletes specializing in the martial art of sambo) and sprinters than in long-distance runners. In samboists performing repeated static efforts, the presynaptic inhibition of spinal α motoneurons became stronger from one trial to the next. Both technique training and strength training enhanced the presynaptic inhibition of spinal α motoneurons, this enhancement being greater after strength training. |
