Diagnosis and Localization of Fault PWM Inverter in Energy Conversion System Using Fuzzy Logic

Popis: In this paper we present a reliable approach for monitoring, diagnosis and localization of the short circuit switch faults in Plush Width Modulation of voltage source inverter (PWM - VSI) associate with doubly fed induction machine (DFIM) based in the fuzzy logic approach in energy conversion system. The precept of the proposed technique is based on the acquisition of currents machine, to analyze the average absolute values of currents (AAVC), which allows the real-time detection and localization of inverter IGBT, short-circuit faults using just the phase currents. A model of the system is built using MATLAB/SIMULINK. The simulation results are presented the performance of monitoring approach under diverse operating modes.
