Popis: Teen use of mobile devices and cell phones is growing at a rapid pace. Schools today are having difficulties enforcing an acceptable level of use of these devices during instructional time in the classroom. Instead of banning these devices all together to prevent such misuses as cheating, some institutions are taking the opposite approach and trying to include them in the students' daily activities to promote responsible use and as an aid to learning. A participatory design study was conducted with students to gather the user requirements for a mobile version of an existing course management system for Middle and Upper School students at a North Carolina private school. It will be based on Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch platform and include features such as class assignments, resources, and school events.
