Test-object Activity and Mortality Depending on Electromagnetic Radiation Intensity and Duration

Popis: The standardization of electromagnetic pollution of environment in Ukraine in comparison with other states is considered. The expediency of using the model organism Daphnia magna Straus for the determination of the level of negative influence of electromagnetic radiation is proved. An express method for evaluating the impact of this stress factor is described, and the results of experimental studies of its harmful effects on the test object are presented. The stimulating, suppressing and lethal doses of electromagnetic pollution for the test object are determined. A new method for the operative determination of electromagnetic pollution levels in the nature reserve fund territories within a city has been tested. On the base of the results obtained, it is proposed to develop a national system for the standardization of negative effects on biota.
