Popis: This is a review of cases in which fracture of the pelvis was treated at the Harlem Hospital from Dec. 1, 1933 to Dec. 1, 1937. It is a continuation of a study made by Conway. 1 CAUSE OF INJURY Seventy-nine patients with fracture of the pelvis, were admitted to the hospital within the period mentioned. Of these, 55 were males and 24 females, the ages ranging from 3 to 83 years. The age incidence is given in table 1. It will be noted that the greatest number of patients entered the hospital when they were within the decade from 20 to 30 years. This decade is the most active period of life, when the patient is most susceptible to trauma. The causative traumas are listed in table 2.
