Popis: | This paper presents the comparative study and design of higher order, Type 2 low pass FIR Filter using Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA), Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA), and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm. CSA ensures faster global convergence over the entire search space in various design problems of FIR Filter. From graphical analysis of the convergence behavior of CSA, GSA and ABC, it is clear that CSA converges faster. Furthermore the stop-band attenuation (A s ) and pass-band ripple (R p ) obtained for CSA is much better than GSA and ABC. In case of order 79, the proposed CSA shows 7.89% better result in stop-band attenuation and 9.43% better result in pass-band ripple in comparison to Parks and McClellan algorithm. |
