Popis:	Tetrachloro-o-benzoquinone undergoes a novel oxidative-elimination reaction with Pt(PhCCPh)(PPh3)2 to give the platinum(II) diphenylacetylene complex, Pt-(O2C6Cl4)(PhCCPh)(PPh3): mercuric halides add to Pt(CF3CCCF3)(PMePh2)2 to give vinyl complexes, cis-PtCl[CF3CC(HgCl)CF3](PMePh2)2, with retention of configuration about the double bond and platinum.
