We present the results of the recent precise S 17 (0) determination by the Seattle-TRIUMF 7 Be(p, γ ) 8 B collaboration. We discuss new investigations of the robustness of our estimated extrapolation uncertainty. We comment on the comparison of direct and Coulomb dissociation determinations of S 17 ( E ), and on neutrino physics and the Standard Solar Model. |
