Popis: | Direct observation of weak links in melt-textured YBCO samples is reported. It is found that weak links appear on the boundaries of textured domains, formed by crystalline plates with a common c -axis direction, at large enough misorientation angles between these directions in neighbouring domains. Such boundaries are shown to be the main defects limiting the current carrying capability of melted ceramics. |
