Popis: | Dermatophytosis is an infectious and contagious superficial fungal skin disease of dogs and cats. The disease is not life threatening and will resolve without intervention; however, treatment is recommended to shorten the course of infection and limit transmission. This article summarises the major learning points identified in a recent evidence-based review on this disease (Moriello and others 2017). |
