Popis: The goal of the research is to study the effect of KE peptide on telomere length of PHA-stimulated blood lymphocytes of young and middle-aged men. 11 blood lymphocyte samples were enrolled in the analysis. Relative telomere length was measured using fluorescence in situ hybridization with DNA-probes specific to telomere sequences of human chromosomes. 5 cases of significant telomere length alteration were registered. These changes were more frequent registered in middle-aged people: 4 invents cases versus 1. KE peptide increased telomere length in blood lymphocytes of middle-aged people if it was basically low and, vice versa, decreased the basically high telomere length.
