Popis: Air gap flux density and d, q axis inductances of the Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor obtained by analytic method are compensated using Finite Element Method. For efficiency optimized design, the sum of the motor losses is taken as the objective function, and design parameters which minimize the objective function are determined by using Simulated Annealing. The proposed algorithm is applied to the optimal design of the motor.
