Popis:	The Occupational Medicine Strategy aimed at employee health preservation and promotion has been developed in the Sverdlovsk Region since 2004. The implementation of the strategy has improved a number of aspects of the organization of the occupational medicine system and stabilization of health of the able-bodied population. Taking into account the state of healthcare, as well as demographic, social and economic environment over the past few years, it is necessary to bring the Occupational Medicine System up to date so that it could meet new challenges associated with medical and preventive care for the working population.
