Popis: | HIV seroprevalence data are presented for a sample of young male street prostitutes who were actively prostituting in New Orleans during 1988 and 1989. Socio-demographic characteristics, substance use patterns, HIV-related risk behaviors and AIDS knowledge are examined as potential correlates to HIV status. Findings are discussed in terms of their importance to the design of HIV status.
