Popis: | 15N-Labelled phosphoryl triamide (PTA) was synthesized. Experiments with Lolium multiflorum plants in vegetation pots have shown that there are important differences between urea and PTA treatments. At high N rates, uptake of N by plants increased in both treatments and N uptake from the soil reserve decreased. The coefficient of N utilization by plants was higher in the urea than in the PTA treatments. However, at the highest N rate, the coefficient of N utilization by plants was higher in the PTA than in the urea treatment. A strong negative correlation was found between the rates applied and the decrease of N content in the soil reserve. |
