Popis:	This study presents a simple lumped parameter model of an absorption heat transformer (AHT). The model is compared with operating data from a pilot-scale AHT unit incorporated with one of the sulphite-liquor evaporation plants at a major pulp and paper mill. The expected performance of a full size AHT incorporated in different ways to the evaporation plant is also discussed.
