Popis: This article presents a qualitative study which aimed to explore the problems that six experienced occupational therapists encountered in their intervention with young children with severe developmental dyspraxia. In-depth interviews revealed that although each case was unique, some commonalities could be deduced. The common problem most of the therapists encountered concerned their doubts about which approach or which techniques to use in their intervention with these children. The use of standardised assessment instruments, continuing education about frames of reference other than sensory integration and mentorship are suggested to relieve this problem.
